ABOUT AMCAs

A.M.C.A was started back in 1997 by Dale Matthews in Victoria. The division started out with 1 car, which was his demonstration car, and has grown to around 300 plus around Australia today with more than 150 in people’s sheds as well.

A.M.C.A stands for Australian Motor Contest Association and has been formed to oversee and promote an affordable and attractive form of dirt track speedway racing known as A.M.C.A Nationals, where the emphasis will be on the driver’s ability to race and not the amount of technology that can be purchased.

The A.M.C.A National has been designed to provide drivers with relatively low cost, low maintenance form of speedway vehicle that will be attractive to drivers, speedway promoters, race tracks, sponsors and most importantly to the public who support the sport of speedway racing.
